Maternity Testing 

DNA testing is used for legal parentage determination to verify if a woman is the biological mother of the child. Determining who is the child's mother can be very important in maternity establishment, birth documents, child support, immigration, adoption, family medical history, social security benefits, workman compensations, wrongful death lawsuits, inheritance, maternity fraud and other reasons.

Except in cases where twin females are the alleged mothers, there are generally two possibilities of DNA maternity test results.

1) Exclusion means the tested female is "not the biological mother" with a scientific probability of maternity is zero percent (0.00%).

2) Inclusion means the test female "could be the biological mother" with a scientific probability of paternity (POP) is 99 percent (99%) or higher. Many of our tests for inclusion have shown (POM) as high as 99.99% that the tested female is the child's mother. The combined maternity index in those instances were 100,000 thousand to one or higher.
